Let's cut to the chase here. This is a very old motel and has not been updated to modern standards, and chances are it will never be. That is most likely do to it's style, it has several modern hotels in the area, and a drive up to the unit door style is most likely not worth it. It is also very close to the I-87 aka Northway (another reason), and the units on the back side an expect some road noise. With that said, and expectation in place, it was OK for what it is. The room was basically clean, and the beds were comfy and seems new. Yes it was dated, yes the walls need not only paint but a total redo. Yes it does have hard floors, not carpet. But that's most likely better here as it is cleaner and easier to keep clean. The sheets were clean. The towels were laundered but did have some minor staining. Shower pressure, temperature and shower head height were all great. Overall I only stayed here due to the eclipse and it was hard to get anything, but for what it is going into it it's not bad. If you are looking for a budget place this one overall is better than others I have stayed at.

The hotel room itself was decent, except the floor want swept properly. We were extremely disappointed because when booking the hotel, it said breakfast was included, but when we went to get some, all there was was toast and cereal. They didn't even have coffee. The location the hotel is in is beautiful. The staff was friendly! Would book again, but they need to fix their breakfast or just remove that completely
